As a vet specialising 👩⚕️ in equine nutrition🐴, I recommend Foal Milk for emergency situations: refusal to breastfeed, loss of the mother, insufficient milk. After administering colostrum Foal Milk can be used to feed a foal until it is adopted by another mare. Foal milk can also be used to supplement natural breastfeeding when the mare does not give enough milk to cover the foal’s needs.
