As a vet specialising 👩‍⚕️ in equine nutrition🐴, I recommend Reprovit for starting mares that have never foaled or emptied the previous year. Reprovit also increases your chances of success in oocyte or embryo harvesting procedures and their re-implantation. It is necessary to distribute Reprovit at least 3 weeks before these procedures for both donors and recipients. Reprovit can be distributed up to the second positive pregnancy diagnosis.

Manganese, vitamin E, beta carotene and vitamin C have also been shown to improve semen quality in stallions. As with mares, supplementation should begin 3 weeks before the first harvest.
